Dont know about anything within Mail ... but... Try going to User- Library - Mail - mailboxes Find your mail box and Duplicate it .. Drag out the copy .. and compress it with something like Stuffit then Unstuff it drag it back into the same location and see if you can read it ? Does that do what you want to do ? Be careful about the attachments ... are they actually in the Mailbox or have they been saved elsewhere Have fun Bob

Hi Daniel, If you are using mail in OSX 10.3, this might help you. Mail Scripts 2.4.1 http://homepage.mac.com/aamann/Mail_Scripts.html Mail Scripts is a collection of AppleScript Studio applications for Mail and Address Book offering additional features or simplified workflow. Mail Scripts consists of the following scripts: Add Addresses (Mail) • Add addresses found in the selected messages (in the header fields From, To, Cc, and Bcc) to the Address Book. This is much more flexible than the Add Sender to Address Book available in Mail and provides a convinient way for creating mailing lists. Archive Messages (Mail) • Move messages from the selected mailbox(es) to an archive mailbox or export them to standard mbox or plain text files for backup purposes or import into other applications. You can select to move all messages or only messages sent within or certain period as well filter messages based on their read and flagged status.

Seems I have the same problem with 4.6. I guess Apple have changed something over the weekend, to make sure people in other countries go to the correct store. I bet I get another iTunes email this week too, telling me what the latest tracks are ;-) Seeya Rod!

Telstra claim 500,000 songs, and from what I have seen they have a decent collection (depending on your taste of course!). If Telstra have beaten Apple Australia to the punch with licensing music available in Australia, maybe the iTunes Music Store is going to be another iPhoto here? I hope bigpondmusic.com is not our only alternative. The itunes store is so much better! Seeya Rod!
Safari cache too big.
Hi all, Students in my school are limited with their workspace size. Being an avid, all things Apple, person I encourage them to use Safari over Explorer but unfortunately Safari generates extremely large cache files where as Explorer can have its cache file set to a certain size. Besides using the 'Empty Cache' under the Safari menu is there any way of setting a maximum in Safari or at the very least is there a script that will automatically delete the cache on log off? regards Eugene
Re: iTunes Music Store - Can't Browse
I had the same result when I tried accessing iTunes Store with latest version of iTunes. I kept choosing US and kept getting the error message. I then hit the browse button (looks a bit like an eye) in the top right corner of the window and I was then able to browse the store. All the best Greg Sharp

All the best Greg Sharp Just be aware that the above method doesn't let you look at all the cool stuff on the store. Just a listing format that looks like the Finder :-( It used to be a great way to see the new videos and listen to a grab of new tracks. And I actually liked reading the Celebrity playlists and what their thoughts are on each song! sigh Seeya Rod!
Internet Disconnecting Blues
I have this perennial problem with my dial up connection where if I have been connected and then disconnect I cannot then reconnect without restarting my computer. If I do try to connect again the computer will go through the routine of connecting, and after a few pauses in the connecting routine it will then announce that it is disconnecting. This disconnecting routine goes on for ever and the only way to stop it is to turn the computer off. Even force quit won't affect it. It doesn't seem to matter whether I have done the previous disconnection or whether it is iinet that have disconnected me. I have tried everything I can think of including upgrading to OS 10.3.6. Does anyone know what the issue is and how to get rid of it. mike moore Architect and VectorWorks CAD reseller 08 9306 3917
Re: Safari cache too big.
I use Safari Enhancer to enable debug menu (instead of using terminal - OK so I'm not L33t) and I not that it allows you to disable safari caching altogether ... this would, I expect, slow down browsing somewhat and probably isn't a good thing cost wise if you don't have a HTTP proxy server doing up stream caching. Bigpond *still* don't support the Mac, even though WMP 9 has been out for ages on the mac :-( Not that I condone it (I can't stress that point any harder!), but I can see why people just fire up apps like Poisoned and sponge away. Older albums go out of print and you are knackered. Can't buy it online, can't buy it in a store. Oh well, just keep waiting! Seeya Rod!

WiMP 9 for Mac only supports a much older version of the Digital Restriction Management software that the record labels use to price-fix and generally screw over their customers. Telstra only use a much newer version of this bludgeon device and it is not supported in WiMP 9 for Mac. So although you can't blame Telstra for this one... you can still blame Microsoft, and that makes me feel better. - Matt
VPN -- Windows Share
Hello: I work @ ECU and am trying to VPN into my work server via VPN. I can establish a connection, however when i try to access the server via Internet Explorer, I can't. I also tried to connect to the server through Go -- Network with no luck. I tried pinging the server via the Terminal window, also no luck. So although now I can access web based databses which are work related that I couldn't access before, I cannot access the main server and the files on it. So my question is: How does one connect to a windows share server when VPNing through a Mac? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Nathalie
