WAMUG Christmas Barbecue Reminder: This Sunday 15 December 2013
G'day again all WAMUGGERS. Don't forget to plug this Sunday, 15th of December into your Calendar or iCal or stick a note on the fridge (would that be an fCal?). The Annual WAMUG Christmas Barbecue will be held at 12:00 noon on Sunday in the grounds of the old Heathcote Hospital at Point Heathcote Reserve, Applecross. Currently, some of the western side of the old hospital is fenced off for renovation but where we go is still open and will be still open on Sunday (I checked). All meat, condiments and soft drinks will be provided, but please let us know by Thursday, 12th December if you intend to come along so we can get an idea of numbers. This will help immensely in estimating quantities. Entry is free to all WAMUG members, but a gold-coin donation by non-members would be welcome. Any offers of help with this year's preparation will also be most welcome. Seating is a bit limited so it might be an idea to bring your own chairs or a rug to sit on. Plus, you can then move, if you stay long enough, to keep in the shade. Last year, some people brought their own thermos for tea and coffee as well. All up, we who attended had a fantastic day. There is plenty of shade there so even if the weather is bubbling the tar, it’s nice and cool where we go. Go to our website [http://www.wamug.org.au/whats-happening/] where there are detailed instructions on where we will be and you can download closeup maps of where we'll be too. If you want to use the Apple Maps app to find it, type “duncraig rd applecross” into the search bar at the top. If it works like mine did, it will take you the correct place and put a red pin in Duncraig Rd just near Grosse Rd. Follow the road to the right towards the yacht club area and you’ll see a bushy area with red roofed buildings. That’s it. Using “Heathcote” didn’t work for me. If you want to use Google Maps, click the following link to locate the venue in Google Maps: http://maps.google.com.au/maps?f=qhl=engeocode=q=heathcote+hospital+applecrosssll=-25.335448,135.745076sspn=63.276794,93.164063ie=UTF8ll=-32.006366,115.848513spn=0.015121,0.022745z=16 Streetsmart map ref: 402 D4. Hi Blitto, What FTP client program are you using to upload contents to the Server? Have you checked you are uploading your files to the correct destination that iiNet uses - public_html or www? I'm on my way to a client now, so will not be available until later, you might find help at the link below. https://iihelp.iinet.net.au/Uploading_homepages Cheers, Ronni On 10 Dec 2013, at 6:03 am, Rod Blitvich rb...@iinet.net.au wrote: Hi WAMUGers I have an iWeb site that i occasionally publish photos etc to. Re: unable to publish iWeb site to iinet
Hi Blitto, Quick reply as busy :( Have you checked all your settings? unable to write to server, verify your settings and retry With this error the possible issues include; 1) You might just need to quit and relaunch iWeb 2) Your directory path is entered incorrectly. You may have included an extra space or return character in the directory path field. Click within the directory path and go to the Edit menu- Select All. Then press delete. Then enter your directory path again making sure it doesn't contain any extra spaces or line breaks. 3) There is a permissions problem on your server. The directory permissions are set incorrectly. Your host would have to fix this. It is most likely issue 1 or 2 mentioned above. If not you need to post your directory path and settings for us to give more help.
