Re: Calculating dates
Stuart, what exactly do you mean by 'the application that calculate dates'? I presume this app has something to do with calendar dates, not the edible or romantic ones? I normally look up dates on a calendar; I don't calculate them. The only calculation I can think of is the one where you want to know what day of the week a certain is. In that case I use M$ Excel. I format the cells in question to FormatCellsCustom, and then enter something like 'ddd dd mm '. I then enter a numerical date and the ddd part displays the day of the week. That's how I found out that I was born on a Wednesday. On 05/04/2011, at 4:34 PM, Stuart Breden wrote: Have just been looking at the application that calculate dates. Am trailing one of the freebies. Re: Calculating dates
Not sure if this is what you are after but I have an app iTimeZone which will show you present, past and future times in other cities, For example if you wish to know what will be the time and date in Sydney when it is 10.00 am 28 March 2013 in San Francisco this app will calculate for you. Cost was $2.49. . Re: Calculating dates
If it's time duration you want to calculate, the spreadsheet within Google Docs can handle this by: Cell A: DD/MM/ HH:MM:SS Cell B: DD/MM/ HH:MM:SS Cell C: Cell B minus Cell A Where Cell A is the earliest date and time, Cell B is the most recent date and time, and Cell C is the calculated time duration which spans the date and time inputted to Cell A and Cell B. Cell C displays in the form HH:DD:SS Cheers, Steven On 05/04/2011, at 9:16 PM, Cari Jansen wrote: You'll find a series of date calculators available via http://www.timeanddate.com/date/timeduration.html Hope this helps.
