Re: Movies on iTunes

2008-08-14 Thread Daniel Kerr
Hi Rod

There are a few ones to do it.
You can get an HDMI to DVI cable, or if you already have an HDMI to HDMI
then Belkin make a really nice adapter:-
<http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Product_Id=418646>
Sells for about $29.
Otherwise the cables can sell for anywhere from $40 through to $400+

Hope that helps.

Kind Regards
Daniel

or use the dvi to vga adaptor, most newer plasma/lcd screen
have a vga connection, works fine for me during video editing /large
screen viewing, you can buy 5m vga male to female cable in most
electronic shops like altronics or jaycar

Check your updates on the Apple TV. You will need to run the update
for the movies to appear.

beats scrambling down to the video store and hoping you are quick

Even their own support document for Australia and New Zealand says 48
hours. Might be worth a few of us sending Apple a feedback sheet
highlighting that rentals here should be 48 hours.

I'm guessing you'd need Apple TV to get it to your TV.

Once you start playing you have 24 hours to watch it, after which

Yes it downloads to your Mac. It does not matter if it is rental or
not the only difference is the rental expires after a certain amount
of time

Which it is then deleted from your computer
