Re: Strange photos appearing in Camera Roll
Hi Blitto, Other Apps can add photos to your camera roll. Does she have Bump or similar on her iPhone? If so, I would suggest she up her security on the sharing Apps so this doesn't happen. Re: Strange photos appearing in Camera Roll
Hi Blitto, I had a client that had Whatsapp installed and noticed this happening, so if she has Whatsapp installed on her iPhone... the default setting saves any picture that she receives automatically to her Camera Roll. If she has Whatsapp it is easy to disable this feature: 1. Open Whatsapp 2. Tap on Settings in the bottom bar 3. Tap on Chat Settings 4. Toggle Save Incoming Media so that it's OFF Now the next time she receives an image from Whatsapp it will not be saved automatically. She can however save it manually if she pleases. Re: Strange photos appearing in Camera Roll
Sorry Blitto, forgot to also mention: On the iPhone 1. Go to Settings 2. Tap on Privacy 3. Tap on Photos 4 Turn OFF the switch for WhatsApp When this is done, whenever someone sends her an image or a video, it stays in WhatsApp. She can still have them in WhatsApp and view them but they won't show up in her camera roll. If she has Bump also do this. I will possibly offline for some time later today tomorrow morning if you require anymore help. Re: Strange photos appearing in Camera Roll
Great Blitto, Yep, Viber is the competitor to WhatsApp and has very similar settings. You need to always check all the settings when you install Apps like these.
