   Hello Bernard

   Paid today.

On visiting the website I noticed an unusual paragraph inserted

Quote from website under tab ‘join':

   CHEQUE:–

Please make the cheque payable to the “Western Australian Macintosh
   Users Group” and post to:

(Please note that WAMUG no longer uses PayMate/PayPal)

[WAMUG} Subscriptions

2022-01-16 Thread Neil Houghton
Hi,

As advised back in June 21, I paid $60 to cover the 2021 & 2022 years. Given
the rate for the 2022 year is now reduced to $20, I presume I now have $10
credit -to be applied to the 2023 & later subscriptions?

Cheers

Hi,

I tend to renew 2 years at a time and I see that my last $60 was paid on
27-Mar-19 - so covered the 2019 and 2020 years.

I have today (01-Jun-21) paid another $60 to cover the 2021 (current) year
and 2022 (next) year.

I hope that matches your membership list.

Let me know if I need to send the NetBank receipt to anyone.

IHello Fellow WAMUGgers,

On behalf of the Committee, I hope you all had a relaxing Christmas with family
and friends and, if you are experiencing the heat, you can keep cool.

Did you know the 12 Days of Christmas actually starts on Christmas Day and
lasts until the night of January 5th? So if the Committee were to follow the
song's list of gifts, we would be sending each of you today "Three French
hens." However, with Australia Post closed for four days, we though it a tad
unwise to attempt to post livestock.

But .. we do have a gift for you. We have decided to REDUCE our annual
membership fee to $20:00.

Re: AGM and Nominations and Subscriptions.

2019-03-27 Thread WAMUG Annoucement
G’day all WAMUGERS.

Two quick notifications.

First, nominations for the Officer positions on the committee were very limited
and there being no more than one nomination for each of only a couple of them
the nominees will be elected unopposed next week at the AGM. There were also
only a couple of nominees for the committee members so they will also be
elected unopposed next week. Consequently, there will be no postal vote
arranged.

Secondly, the list membership was updated last night and anyone who was not

AGM and Nominations and Subscriptions.

2019-03-19 Thread WAMUG Annoucement
G’day all WAMUGERS.

The 2019 annual general meeting of the Western Australian Macintosh Users’
Group will be held before the next monthly user group on Tuesday, 2 April 2019,
starting at 7.30pm.

Nominations are being called for positions on the committee as all positions
will be declared vacant. The closing date for nominations is next Tuesday, 26
March 2019 at 5pm. If there is more than one nomination for any of the four
Officer positions, a vote will held on the night to elect a nominee to the
relevant position. There will also be an online voting form to enable those
unable to attend the meeting to vote. If there is only one nominee for any
particular position, the person will be elected unopposed and no online vote
will need to be cast for that position.

The four Officer positions available are:

1 President.
2 Vice President.
3 Treasurer.
4 Secretary .

Plus Committee members.

Please consider helping out by coming onto the committee.

If you have any queries in regards to the committee positions, please feel free
to drop me an email via the List. Please type AGM query in the Subject line to
enable easy identification of your email.

Subscriptions.

To be eligible to vote in the AGM you must be a current financial member.
Subscriptions for WAMUG are based on the calendar year so the 2019 annual
subscriptions fell due on the 1 January this year. A big thank you to all those
who have paid up and maintained their membership.

As is the usual practice, next Tuesday evening in the week before the AGM, the
membership list will be gone through and any unfinancial members will be
blocked from posting to the list until they become finacial, although you will
still receive your daily digest or individual messages. You just won’t be able
to post to the list and get help. More importantly, you won’t be able to vote
in the AGM.

Pete Smith

As you will recall  we have been moving towards the situation
where all

The majority of members subscriptions expired  last December  31st
There are a few that have paid in advance of that date.

The subscription  for ordinary members is $30
The subscription for students is $20
The subscription for Corporate members  is  $190

Payment where due can be made by  cheque  or money order  to

Post Office Box 514 Wembley Post Office   6913

Alternatively  you can pay by Bank transfer to

We have been having a couple of issues with finding a treasurer that
can devote the time required to keep track of all of this.

Rest assured though that we are now on track with getting everything
sorted out. Our new members site is almost ready to go live, and you
will be able to check your membership status on there.

If you have paid for a membership, and not received any notification
could I please ask you to wait one more week. After that, we will be in
a position to help you.

I must apologize for the time it has taken on this issue.

G'day WAMUGGERS
A Message from the Treasurer

Its that time of the year again . About five weeks before the Annual
General Meeting which , as you all know, is not the boring event of other
off topic Associations but one where some fortunate members will receive
rewards for their financial support.
This year the main event will probably be an iBook, followed by a CD Burner
and then some free memberships .
I will be relinquishing the post as Treasurer. and would like to make my
successors job as easy as possible by getting everybody financial up to
the end of this year so that you all know that come January 2003
subscriptions are due.
The Committee would also like to increase the financial membership so it is
a much
larger proportion of the mailing list than currently.
Only about one in four on the list are financial members. I am sure that
most of you value the advice you receive, the opportunity to swap ideas and
the ability to buy and sell goods on this list.
Isn't that worth 8.2 cents each day ?

New members are invited to send $30 for membership up to Dec 31 2002.

Existing and recently lapsed members are invited to pay the amount shown
against their name in the list below to make them financial to Dec 31, 2002.

ONLY THOSE WHO ARE FINANCIAL THROUGH TO DECEMBER 31, 2002 will be included
in the draw. It will also be appreciated if you can make payment on or
before Friday February, 22 2002. This will avoid the last minute scramble
causing stress to persons of my vintage.
