Friends in the forum,
I knew Aloro. I am sad to learn about this. Aloro RIP. Please give me
more information for us to do a documentary on his profile. BUT the
problem we should focus on is the recklessness of the drivers and the
buses in DMC. California owners MUST offer some explanation. The road
is also NOT in the best condition. It has been used for several years
and i am not sure if there is plan to undertake some repair. ACIDRI

Brothers and sisters,

Our very sincere condolences to the immediate families of the victims of this
tragedy and to West Nilers and Ugandans as a whole. There are no words to
describe what has transpired. No human being is capable of explaining why this
had to happen and I hope that the spirit of mourning together will continue. We
continue to pray for quick recovery of those who are still in hospital or
discharged, the familes, as well as those who are helping the victims and/or

May Opio's soul Rest in Eternal Peace and may the good Lord give his family

Caleb, is it possible to organise some CSR nitiatives like blood donations,
contribute towards buying Oxygen- which I was told was lacking as well etc in
aid of Mulago and in rememberance of all those who die/ have died due to
unavailability of these very important life saving needs? Just asking

Thanks though for your standing with those suffering the loss of their

Dear Folks,

For those of us who live in
 Uganda particularly Entebbe ,
 Kampala , Jinja
and surrounding areas, I have just received a message from Dr. Isaac Ezati of
Mulago Hospital indicating that the body of our late brother Daniel Olema is
expected in Uganda this Friday. He will receive the body and is making
arrangement
to take the body to Arua. The information I do have is that he has secured a
vehicle to transport the body to Arua. The challenge at hand is for fueling the
vehicle for the journey to and from Arua. I have had phone discussion with
three members of WestnileNet based in Kampala .
The proposal we have at hand is to open a condolence book and another book for
some contribution towards the fuel expenses.

I have also consulted our brother Droma
and we have tentatively agreed to station the books at his place (Jinja Road
Police Canteen in Kampala )
from tomorrow April 22,2009.

Your suggestions and contributions are
welcome towards this cause.
