Be sure to check your state's lattery/raffle laws. They vary a lot, but many have restrictions about how players can get tickets, etc. On 12/1/2013 12:03 PM, Joe Miller wrote: Thinking about how to get my company name out there more in our area... A thought that I came up with was a raffle... Raffle off a 2002 KZ C800, (see attached) at $5.00 a ticket. Someone will own this for $5.00. but instead of the conventional way of the actual paper ticket, come up with something that is web based where they can buy tickets through a web page. I haven't got the details on how to do this yet, but looking for ideas. Say start on 1/1/14 and have the drawing on the 4^th of July or something like that. Someone owed me money for a job, and this is how I got paid. the motorcycle is company owned, and it runs very well. Re: [WISPA] Marketing idea
AFAIK, it's illegal in every state to have an online raffle that is fee based. Certain NFP's can get a permit for an online raffle based on state laws. You can see your laws for Mississippi here: http://www.msgamingcommission.com/ or http://www.gambling-law-us.com/State-Laws/Mississippi/ Regards, Chuck On Sun, Dec 1, 2013 at 1:11 PM, Scott Reed sr...@nwwnet.net wrote: Be sure to check your state's lattery/raffle laws. [WISPA] Best way to attach to a steel, pre-fab, building?
What is the bast way to attach a mount for a rocket dish to a steel, pre-fab, building? Simple mount and just lag bolts into the steel or is there another trick? Re: [WISPA] Best way to attach to a steel, pre-fab, building?
Lag bolts do not work on steel. I would clamp around a truss with long through bolts with a plate on the inside. Re: [WISPA] Best way to attach to a steel, pre-fab, building?
We have drilled holes for 1/2 carriage bolts through skin and frame angle steel which is used to mount 1' standoffs to hold a 2 x 10' gal. sch 40 pole. In a case where we mounted several radios, we added another 10' pole which was embedded into the ground to take off weight. We then mounted (2) 1/2 double clamps which allow us to install a drop down pole, getting up another 10', but making it fairly easily to drop to roof line for repairs. I wouldn't mind buying that... What was the bill and what do you want for it?
