Title: Re: Witango-Talk: Calendar Hello Dan, With the launch of Dreamweaver MX, the structure within Dreamweaver changed. Its a very simple task to add 3rd party tags to Dreamweaver now using the Dreamweaver interface. Because of this, we felt it was no longer needed to create a program to install WiTango tags in Dreamweaver MX 8. If you need assistance, we can provide a document that will explain how to add your WiTango tags into Dreamweaver. RE: Witango-Talk: calendar display
The calendar site at Illinois State University www.calendar.ilstu.edu is in Tango 2000. The monthly calendar on the left is done using _javascript_. There was a design reason for using _javascript_ but at this time I don't remember what it was. It might have been wanting to allow someone to pick a month without a round trip to the server. This site allows authorized users to enter events for their respective areas and also allows non-authorized users to enter an event and have it approved by an administrator. Re: Witango-Talk: Calendar code
Hi Brian, I got Witango-based calendar code off of the component zone. You can find a couple of examples there. Stefan At 12:45 PM 9/23/2004, you wrote: I am trying to write a small calendar application, and I am running into some issues with a few months when i try and build the table cells, it isn't building the calendar correctly. Re: Witango-Talk: Calendar code
Title: Message Hello Brian, I have written calendars before. The easiest way I found was to get the first day (Monday etc...) of each month and go from there. I didn't use a database table for the calendar itself, but just to save the data for a particular date. I built an engine that displays the calendar applicable events for a specific date. Atrix, Here are two Calendar apps... the top one on the page is limited, but it's the nicer of the two. Needs some additional JavaScript to expand the dates. It is limited to current month and the next 13 months. The bottom one is a Witango solution. Came from the Pervasive Component Zone. http://www.arisar.com/calendar The first calendar is on Ben's Tango Goodies. I have the other if you want it. Hey List, Here's a calendar in java script. The calendar opens in a popup window. You can choose a date, and it plops it in the text field. Works in IE Netscape! This is something created by us! I would love to take a look. I'm going to have to find a way to grey out dates that are not available and I would love to be able to show 12 months from the current date in one window.
