Jinxes at WNN, or "Stairy, Stairy Night"
Today, Andrew said that the reason he always took the stairs (thereby improving his health considerably, according to a new study: https://www.npr.org/sections/health-shots/2024/04/29/1247532191/longevity-stairs-climbing-exercise-heart-disease), is that he's been stuck on the elevator more than once! In response, Rhiannon admitted that she's *never* gotten stuck on the elevator, which apparently dooms her to some sort of elevator-related malfunction in the not-too-distant future (sorry about that!). Pizza tip (with ANCHOVIES)
Today on WNN, we once again saw that anchovies rank at the bottom of pizza toppings. The worlds! of World News Now! and Jeopardy! collide!
Apparently, current anchors Andrew Dymburt and Mona Kosa Abdi have recorded clues which will appear in the first day of the semifinal games of the Jeopardy! National College Championship (this Thursday, Feb. 17, 2022). Enjoy BTW, does anyone know how they're going to do the finals? It appears that 36 students, representing as many schools, were in the quarterfinals. And so 12 students go on to the semifinals. But if you have four games there, that results in four students in the finals. Has Jeopardy! ever had FOUR contestants at a time, in any of its formats? Thanks for any info. -Doug Elrod (d...@cornell.edu) P.S. 2022 Super Bowl Theme?
Given that the L.A. Rams are facing the Cincinnati Bengals, and they both are CHILI hotspots, the former for chili dogs, the latter for Five-Way Chili, perhaps this could be the CHILI BOWL! It wouldn't make a bad Super Bowl-gathering food item, either. It appears the recent GrapeNuts-O-Pocalypse, aka the GREAT DEARTH (of Grape Nuts) has come to an end. I saw a _4 lb_ box of Grape Nuts recently.
