[X2Go-User] x2gothinclient TCE-nfs -x-session break
On x2gothinclients, the x session is terminated randomly. The screen crashes unexpectedly on tty1, from which it is impossible to access the x-session x2gothinclient. In this case, the session on the server exists and you can connect via x2gosharingdesktop.It is not possible to find a pattern - this happens in the absence of actions and (or) when working in any program. Sometimes there are no failures in a few hours of operation. How and where can you calculate the reason for the failure of the x-session? ___ x2go-user mailing list x2go-user@lists.x2go.org https://lists.x2go.org/listinfo/x2go-user
Re: [X2Go-User] Zoom Desktop Client will not start over X2Go
If it is crashing this usually means it does not properly check if the X server (x2goagent in this case) offers all the required features. I would suggest to post a bug report to Zoom, but in this case I doubt it will be of any benefit since even a working version will not be really useful inside nx/x2go. But you could try to fullscreen your window and then start the zoom client locally and share the whole session. Or use x2go in single application or published applications mode. [It's "X2Go", not "X20Go"] I'm not sure what Zoom is doing there, but an easy workaround might be to run the Zoom client on the workstation, while using X2GoClient in Published Application Mode rather than with a full remote Desktop Environment. That way, you might be able to share individual remote application windows, because there is no remote desktop that Zoom might accidentally capture. Another option you could try is their web client, from a web browser inside the X2Go session - not sure if the web client allows sharing a window, but might be worth a try. [X2Go-User] Zoom Desktop Client will not start over X2Go
Hello, When I connect over X20go to my Debian 10.9 workstation and try to start the Zoom Desktop Client it crashes immediately without even showing up. If I start it on the workstation locally it starts without issue. Has anyone else run into this issue, and if so have you found a solution? Use case: Sharing a window on the remote system during a meeting. Sharing the entire x20go session window is not desirable. Thank you! ___ x2go-user mailing list x2go-user@lists.x2go.org https://lists.x2go.org/listinfo/x2go-user
