Alex, I did go to the /lib/modules/fglrx/build_mod and executed make.sh. I got and error that the shell script could not interpret the proper library. Now what? You could use the ATI drivers under any distribution and any kernel (2.4). use the rpm2targz decompress the archive and install it go into the directory /lib/modules/fglrx/build_mod sh make.sh cd .. sh make_install.sh it will compile the drivers for your kernel.
