As near as I can tell, you are looking for a * alias. You decide what mailbox you want to receive the "catch all" mail, then set up an alias for that mailbox of * - that will send all mail that is not addressed to any valid mailbox to the mailbox you designated. For example, let's say that your domain is foo.bar, and that you want the schmoo mailbox to receive "catch all" mail. In this case, you would need to add a line to the aliases.tab file that looks like this (note that between all quoted strings is an actual TAB character, not just spaces): "foo.bar" "*" "schmoo" Note that if you edit the tab file directly (rather than using an administration tool), you will need to stop xmail before editing it, then restart it afterwards, as the aliases.tab file is indexed. [xmail] log file => spammers

The more I look at xmail the more I just want to create a whole suite to = add fucntions like updating other files like whitelisting and being able to add spammers from the log right into the spammers.tab = files and things like that... so far no one has given any suggestions or feedback but you. [xmail] xmail-1.16 in Gentoo Linux
Hi All! I am glad to report that in Gentoo's portage tree there are a working ebuild for XMail 1-16. This ebuild is now masked as testing, so you should run it by accepting testing ebuilds or by pointing emerge procedure directly to this file (/usr/portage/net-mail/xmail/xmail-1.16.ebuild). XMail installed by this ebuild to run in chrooted environment as unpriviliged user, and also there is a simple setup wizard to set up ctrlaccount, first domain and it's mail users.
