I have two different mice, which were working correct. But I can't say the x-servers, which screen they should take for receive/display the key presses! At the moment it is so, that sometimes the first server take the keyboard events and sometimes the other take them. -Thorsten ___ Xpert mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://XFree86.Org/mailman/listinfo/xpert

Then I will get one mouse (one mouse-pointer) which I can move with the two mice. Isn't it so? But this is not what I want. I want to have two different mice on each monitor. Is this possible with Xinerama? If yes, can you tell me please how? -Thorsten ___ Xpert mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://XFree86.Org/mailman/listinfo/xpert

Honestly, I can't how it should work at all. Not with the X servers being on the same virtual terminal. I think you should take a look at Xinerama - remember you can use two (or more) mice if you want to. -Peter ___ Xpert mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://XFree86.Org/mailman/listinfo/xpert

To get two vt's displaying at once you need kernel support. The linuxconsole project guys are working on this, and I hear are doing pretty well so far - check freshmeat or something. I don't think you can have two x-servers on one VT, but I don't really know either way :) > > > > >(which one of the X servers crash on you?) > > > > I don't know? Where can I seen this?
