magazine has a cover story on Underground Resistance vs Sony. I opened
the magazine to the table of contents and couldn't find it listed anywhere.
I didn't have the patience

yeah he rocked in brisbane, shame the sound system was so poor...only heard
the bass and hihats, all the midrange was muddy and subsequently it almost
ruined the set..however the highlight was derrick dropping UR Amazon and

Just got home (early Monday morning) from seeing Derrick spin at Seven (a
relatively small club) in Melbourne. He played way better than he did at the
NYE party.
Derrick played great on NYE, everyone there was familiar with who he is and
what he does, the vibe was warm and friendly, it's just

I don't think Derrick gets the right crowd in Sydney, personally. The city

I glossed over the article, primarily because it was covered like most of
the other articles on this subject that I have seen. They presented the
facts and little more (a good thing imo).
I'll dig up the article and post it if there is interest. Otherwise I

last night rolando and larry burden played at the new upstairs lounge of twilo.
rolando played the best set of techno i've ever heard. funky as fuck. mainly
played tracks in the low 130s, with a fair smattering of old kevin saunderson
and derrick may tracks as well as a large assortment of u.r.

IMO Steve Rachamd is a better DJ than a producer. I have seen him play hard

No, it's on, for real - check out the site Ken mentioned.
I knew Jeff had something like this coming up - he has mentioned speaking to
students a couple of times in interviews.
It should be interesting.
Hope someone from the list goes so they can report on it. I would imagine

Hi all,
The PLURkids club night is next Friday, Feb. 4.
Since I'll not be doing any flyer for this and it is an email/word-of-mouth
only thing, and because people have been emailing me asking about it, I
thought I'd re-post the info to the lists.
Incidentally, the reason for no flyer is
