who did this. And there are some very preemptive reasons why it's not
being restocked. There's a lot more to the story and, legal proceedings

The Ian O'Brien track (Mad Mike Disease) is wicked,
Yeah, this track is pretty damn funky. You can find it
on the Ferox album 'Desert Scores'. I think there's
also a claude young collab on there called 'grandpa's

heheh).

Yes, my mistake. It was Leandro Gamez who did that

it's a remix of a hawtin track (or maybe I'm

Hello All,
I'm looking for good quality deep house and techno midi files. I've hunted
all over but not getting anywhere. If anyone has any or knows where to get
them I'd be forever grateful.
Cheers.
Neil
I highly recommend the new Peter Spiess - True Video on Klang
Elektronik,

This record is amazing! some of the best minimal techno I've heard in a
while,
Sounds like a cross between the Sweet Exorcist and Mike Ink.
My favorite
Nah - 45rpm, and it's firing!
Has he done any other remixes for other artists?
Cheers,
Dan

I didn't say it was total crap, you right Tresor is a quality label.
His new hard acid EP on DJAX Pacou - Binary code assault sounds decent.
well judging from the RA on http://www.djax.nl/newreleases.html

*SIGH!*
Yeah, I always wanted to know how a Jeff Mills track sounds like using
only General Midi ;-)
R=R's Strings of Life may sound decent though...

The other Dave Clarke doesn't own Bush either to my knowledge.
This seems to be quite a popular misconception, but I don't know where it
stems from.

Bush was started by Eric Gooden and
Eric Powell. Though this way have changed
since, Dave Clarke (the man who did the
Red series) never was and never has been
involved in Bush records in any way other
than recording for them (gosh, i sound all
lawyerey :)) The names Dave Clarke and
Dave Clark
the dave clarke, as in The Red Series used to
run a label called Magnetic North which released tracks
by himself, Christian Vogel, Russ Gabriel etc.
He also used to work in a record shop called Jelly Jam
in Brighton, the shop being owned by one Luke Slater
(who also used to work in there).
It was
Not sure about a Hawtin mix, there are none as far as I can tell from
the, limited, liner notes. Rhythms Silhouettes by Leandro Gamez on
Fiebar is a great LP. It's funky, and the tracks don't all sound
interchangeable like so many of today's double packs. I just wish I
could find more releases
I'm afraid Dave has a tendancy of leaving labels on the wrong foot. Last
year, around the time Dave became a bi-monthly resident in the Fuse club, I
interviewed him there and although he was in a very good mood (which is not
always the case) he didn't want to talk about Bush. He had nothing good
Don't forget there's two sides to every story, John.
He may be moody at times (likely a Virgo thing :)),
but he doesn't take any shit from anyone (another
Virgo thing; you'd rather be our best friend than
our worst enemy :)). Dave is an independent thinker
who makes sure he is in control at all
i thought his remixes-only policy was down to a restrictive deal with
deconstruction.
only red 1 and 2 came out on bush as far as i know.
red 3 and subsequent output has been on deconstruction.
what's his argument with RS?
i don't think he released anything on RS did he?
his moods are probably
You are right, you shouldn't take shit from anyone. I used to get fucked
over for money too in the past, but from now on I'm on my gard. Is it just
the music industry or do people get fucked for money everywhere? Well I
guess it's the same problem everywhere, but I've already heard lots of
artists
On RS Dave released 'Get a little stupid' under the name Hardcore. Maybe he
did another release on the label, but I'll have to check that. It was one of
his first releases if not the first, probably licensed to RS and not an
original release.
And now I'm really outa here!!! :)
John
Just curious if anyone has real audio of either of these records.

believe me... people get fucked for money everywhere.
however, this happens less frequently in highly developed markets where legal

He remixed (as Elektric Music with Lothar Manteuffel) Planet Rock in the early

other Elektric Music tracks that i heard. It all sounded a bit like a cheap
