X-102 Disvovers the Rings of Saturn Tresor-4
The intro is not on the CD. Classic Early 90s banging proto-trance
Hood/Mills material, complete with orchestra Stabs, and 'ardcore pitch
modulated sawtooth waves. Titan, C-Ring, and Ground Zero (Alan used
to kick this hard) are favorite tracks

Hi
I've just moved to Sydney from Perth, and am hoping
someone can provide me with the usual sort of info:
good record stores, clubs, nights, and so on.
Cheers
Chris

hi!
found this on ebay for anyone who's interested, absolutely nothing to with
me and I won't be bidding for it either, thought somebody might like to
hear this often mentioned album:
Throbbing Gristle: 20 Jazz Funk Greats LP (Current bid - $6.50)
yup, probably their best album, there are a couple of killer early electro
tracks in there... I think it was reissued on CD a couple of years ago by
Mute, along with most of their catalogue.
BTW, I've seen in The Wire that there should be a new Chris Cosey comp
released, anybody got it ? and
yeah, I agree, that album is brilliant! check out some of the other Dublin
stuff from artists like Donnacha Costello(www.minimise.com) and Rob Rowland
(www.freestaterecordings.com). Check out www.dublindistribution.com for more
info on D1 rec. and Dublin techno artist..
Best regards,
Rikard
On the subject of artists from Dublin I got a copy of the Copper Beach ep by
Derek Carr yesterday. A stunning slice of deep techno. The guy got 500 pressed
and took them round Dublin's record stores himself so I dont think its got very
far afield yet, but has anyone else heard it?

I've probably mentioned this before, but keep a look out for
Dublin act
Decal, aka Decoy. They release stuff on Trama Industries, D1 and
Mass Transit. Generally, more on an electro tip, although the
Decoy release
on D1 ('This town has lost its way') is techno. They have an
album coming
out
I need some help to ID this track.

I liked it ... Tresor are moving on from pure break-neck stomp, to somewhere
in between the sound of Globus and ... break-neck stomp! No, if you like
tresor you'll like it. Plus u get to check-out Digital Tsunami before
buying the vinyl ...

313ers,
Bit of an unusual question this one.
It's my friend's 30th birthday on April 5th.
Does anyone know of any events worldwide around that date? It could be
anything (313 related or otherwise), the wilder the better!
Much appreciated!
Alastair
yeah, decal has done alot of nice stuff..One of the best according to me is the
ladies love my 808 track. Its probably pretty hard to get a hold of since its
limited to 500 copies.
