steve hurley is playing sydney in a coupla weeks.
he was probably my favourite of the hotmix 5, when it came to spinning
pre-house, disco, italo and early house in an interesting way.
what's he like these days? has anyone seen him recently? what sort of stuff
does he play and how?
i thought that 12 with todd sines is coming before the 'a wonderful day'

Love it: really nice and soothing deep house.

I've seen a few white labels floating around, (i actually have one -
thanks Todd) and i'm pretty sure they were just pressed recently. Not
sure when the actual release date is.
An overall description of the single would have to include the words
deep/minimal/glitch/tech/house. It's a 4 tracker,
Speaking of Todd Sines, I recently picked up a copy of the Static ep on
Reinforced.
I wanted to know if that is pretty much his style and if any of you have any
recco's for me
cheers

- John Beltran album on Exceptional?
i like this one very much, though it's less
techno than ten days of blue, more latin
elements i'd say somewhere between
his recent output on ubiquty and his more
ambient techno approach on peacefrog /
rs. i'd say, if you've liked moving through

is this that Caboclo (sp?) one?
if so, no offense niko, but i am not feelin it at all, i think it's pretty
awful...seems like it's john making typical, even pretty lame latin house,
only a few tracks have that deepness of his more techno/melodic work...
Not directly 313-related, I know, but then I figure this may well come in
handy for quite a few people on this list who operate labels.
I'm helping a friend's label build their mailing list up and have compiled a
list (see below) of all the UK, European, American and other magazines that

I agree. I dont understand how this found its way into the

I believe it's finished. I heard that it's amazing. Every track is tight.
He moved to LA and had to set up his studio again and that all takes time.
Anyone know if there are good Web sites where I can get the full DL on
ghetto-tek?
Also, anyone know about the background of Detroit neo-soul
can anyone recomend me some wicked tunes / cds / albums / EPs ...
i'm searching for some stuff like vibert's homewerk EP
or 2 rmxs by afx or squarepusher's acid traxx on selection sixteen...
or any d'n'b ragga, breakbeat/junble, hardcore rave traxxx...
i also love hellfish producer and
M-Ziq's Tango and Vectif is essential if you like that sort of thing - I
think it has just been re-released in England
It is worth getting just for the track PH*1700 alone.
Also try other Rephlex and Warp stuff from AFX and Squarepusher if you ain't
heard any of it yet - it does begin to get
acid resistant volumes 1 and 2

records are essential anyway, my personal favour is Acid Junkies part
