I spoke with DJ Vadim about Immigration and performing. He said that
it costs about $1500 a person for a one year work permit, i.e. what a
musician would need in order to tour legally. You can leave the US
and come back for more shows for up to a year.
Lots of people come over on tourist visas
Better still, don't take drugs.

Last night I attended the Official Movement Afterparty at the Tangent
Gallery. Was first time there, good space. The artists were Vikter
Duplaix, Francois K and the one and only Derrick May. This was my first
time hearing Duplaix and he was alright. Francois K had a 2 1/2 or 3 hr
set
Patience is a virtue. ;)
I think it will come sooner rather than later, but will be worth the wait.
Think 'next level s**t'
You can't blame an artist for wanting everything to be just right.

Cyclone you dark horse :)
Tip number 2 in Australia, do not get your luggage straight away, first rush
to your chauffeur's car, retrieve petrol and douse random bags with
soup-cloth.
Ahh, the illusion is there :)

minority at the festival. How
Went to Unity. Liked the venue a lot...very packard-esq inside. minus the
trainspotting bathrooms, thank GOD! Some unknown dj spun until about 2ish,
when Gene Farris FINALLY came on, his set was i-ight. (not much of house
fan, so not a good judge) Kenny Larkin didn't come on till around
Opps, sorry, Gary Martin. I'm still recovering!
