seems as though Katrin's estimation was dead on as Mr. Mills has now
entombed his image in a museum type display case.

Better those 500 than the 1000 idiots that usually show up...
The vibe and the music were on another level that night.
Hello 313 peepz,
Does anyone out there have a copy of the Jordan Fields white label release
on Modulate (Modulate 001) that they would be willing to sell/trade. Please
hit me back privately if you do.

A question about how you did the mix in Live (I've been playing around with
this a bit lately.)
Did you pitch-shift the records as you recorded them into Live or did you do
this inside of Live?
The reason I ask is that my attempts to do the pitchshifting in Live have
all sounded like total crap--
looking for any webradio broadcasts of events this weekend or decent radio
shows
by the way it's really cheap to fly Iceland Air right now to the UK for any

The track "Squirrel Bait" is on the "Blip, Blurp, Bleep: The music of Daniel
Bell" CD compilation released in September 2003 on Logistic.
And its written 1999 as production date.
And to me, its sounds like farmyard animals communicating by morse code :)
If i have to choose, my favorite DBX' track

Right, but I think what annoys people here more is the feeling of being
abandoned over here in the U.S. Why can't he play for $5 at a 200

highly doubt it would involved simple minded druggies or whatever.
On the other hand,
We all have our bad days, even a superstart like mills does. To the point
that mills no longer plays in the USA, I have seen him 3 (maybe 4?) times in
the last year and a half at arc, a club here in nyc. He has established a
good working relationship with nick, the manager of the club, and continu

do not intend to get into this rather interesting debate
on good/bad Mills, just want to mention that I bought all
three ep's without proper listen and paid EUR 9.50 before
VAT reduction (13.89 %). So it is less than 6 pounds per EP.
Yeah, no promotion but this was at Hard Wax, Germany.
Believe me
It's hard to imagine Mills being that bad. I would say don't give up, give
him another chance if you get the opportunity.
If you catch him on the right night he'll blow you away with his mixing.
I've experienced myself at both Lost & Sonar.

i think we're all better off with Mills not representing the American
techno community.
He had what is probably the largest public forum for techno in America
(Hart Plaza) and his set was mediocre at best.
