i feel that way
about alot of melodic techno, not enough of it has teeth. of course
there's also the melodic techno thats too dancefloor. its a hard combo
to master, something thats good listening music and good dancefloor

I definitely agree with this, I love melodic techno but feel that the vast
majority of stuff over the past few years has become way too smooth and
polished - just because it's melodic doesn't mean it can't be raw and
gritty
as well. I much prefer music to be a bit rougher and with a good

Can't wait for this one to get in the stores.

According to his myspace page, this guy Martin Buttrich (a name almost as good
as mine) is production partners with Tiesto on his album. Any chance of a
Tiesto release on Planet e? :p I do agree those clips make for a solid release.
Also, any one want to cite some examples of this recent wave
yeah, it may well be a generational thing- my gut feeling is that
vinyl will always have a cool factor that will appeal to people
that will help things tick along for a good while yet- for our
particualr music and where club gigs are concerned, I still haven't
used anything that comes
Thanks for the links all.
Anybody know of any sites for him or his label? I've not been able to
find anything.
I was this close to a copy of the soundboard from demf... the real
audio file is ok but I wish I could have got that soundboard.

I've only bought stuff on line from bleep. I don't have an iPod, and I
won't ever buy a DRM-protected player. 99% of my digital music

The reasons I buy on line
1. I can shop at work, and listen immediately.
2. Having something digitized already
I don't think anyone has mentioned this yet. Yes it is a Christian dance
music festival and I know some would avoid this just for that reason.
However, the talent listed is mighty impressive. Plus it's FREE.
It is an official DEMF event.
