can't you just do it with winamp? select disk-writer in the output options and
set the disk writer to encode to mp3 (or wav if you want to use a more
full-fledged mp3 encoder). easy as pie..m

Then you can write an Apple Script to do it en masse, if you're using a
Mac of course - you can always just select all in a play list and do it
that way. I'm not being flip, these really are the easiest ways.
