Dont want to start a crazy thread, but wanted to know your fave rec shops
in London. Feel free to respond off-list so we don't jam them up with
"great Cab Volt bootleg selection...talk to Richard, as he'll take care of

Flying Records is gone! Oh no! I bought my very nice record
bag there, it also doubles as an excellent laptop-n-stuff case
when I'm, you know, flying.
They had the coolest logo, too, and the motto: "Purveyors
of Bespoke Stereophonic Vinyl."

Smallfish, out east on Old Street near the 333 club is a must. Koobla
is no more AFAIK, but Soul Jazz/Sounds Of The Universe just round the
corner is definitely worth checking. And if you're digging for
second-hand stuff, check out the MVE at Notting Hill Gate...

Tom

If you haven't got much time (or if you have lots of time too) you need to
head for Berwick Street (its off Oxford Street Tottenham Court Road tube
station end - come out the tube, walk down Oxford Street about 3-4 minutes
and its on your left). This is record store central for London:

time in his hands? Interested especially in 313 electro stuff (Ersatz,
