One more thing on the booty tip. D-Man has an almost shocking recent release on Dance Mania (DM 274). The last track is simply him speaking, with a bunch of shout-outs intermixed with a commentary on the sad state of affairs in Chicago as far as DJs ripping tracks from each other and other sins.

I get the impression, though, that bass/booty/jeep tracks are on a fast downhill slide. I was kind of disappointed by what I found at Record Time as far as recent releases. UC and other labels that followed Dance Mania can copy the roughness but not the wackiness, which is what I really love abou
