Hey, anyone else think that the new Groovetech website is a complete mess?
At first I thought it was cool but then I tried to navigate it and all these
stupid windows open up and searching for things (which used to be very
simple) is now very complicated and items that I know they have don't

I'll second this one. Graphically, this site is absolutely beautiful, I
really like what I see. However, from a usability standpoint, it is in some
serious need of help. Like a porcupine in a balloon
when Detroit Dj's are coming to sydney??? any tours
planned???

I just dropped Groovetech a line about the site. I hope they get it
straightened out because I loved their old site, but I will go to
another
online shop to buy records. Let's
it to 313 as soon as I get it.

yep
I found the search pretty easily. You can get around the login by
clicking
your continent. I agree this doesn't seem incredibly intuitive. It's
actually pretty annoying. I didn't bother to register, but it doesn't look
like you get the option to avoid this login screen even if you do.

2. It's slow. (cable modem - avg 90-130 kilobytes/sec) I'm curious about
how it comes across on a phone line connection. Anyone out there with a 56k
and a stopwatch?
A 14.4 here, til Friday. (Cable modem, finally.) And you really, really
don't want to know the time. I don't. I gave up.
Alex H., of Groovetech, used to be on 313...perhaps he still is. So I'm sure
all this feedback is listened to...otherwise, I think it be best to feed the
observations of the new site straight to GT, where it will serve better
purpose.

I imagine it will get better eventually, but it will probably take a
little while. They've been working on this version for a really long time and
the launch was delayed several times.
The people involved are all really smart and creative, but like most
other e-projects it
