arrogant? my friends interviewed her for a crumby little zine in black and
white and her attitude was far from arrogant. it was not too long ago and
the fact that she would do it for free proves she's got some heart in her.
as for her dj sets ive heard nothing but the bangin techno and she
gotta agree with that one.
never seen her live, but the live from Karma mix with Gayle San is awesome.
i highly suggest downloading it from Napster, although i can never seem to
get all the parts together.

She actually explained it recently in an article in XLR8R, and it does come
from the Miss Stress word play.

Hey all, there is a interview with her and a bunch of other Canadian DJ's
in
the current issue of Air Canada magazine, so if you fly AC then you can
read
it. She and Fred Everything are on the cover. Its
label (definitely not PR). I found the words to distract too much from the
music

I am looking for a track that i was told was done by Mistress Barbra.
Basically it is a track with a vocal of a female dominatrix talking about
what she is doing to a you and how good it feels and all that other dirty
nasty stuff. you know, the kind of track that would make everyone horney.
OK
i think you may be referring to punish #4? it's not produced by mistress
barbra though, it's actually mike humphries and glenn wilson. hope this
helps..

That sounds like 'Aural Exciter' but that's not Mistress Barbara;
it's by Glen Wilson and Mike Humphries. Punish #4. Her proper
British accent makes the whole thing SO nice... ;)
