Last time I was there they had no new inventory of any kind; seemed like they
had batches of the same tracks int he bins. They mentioned that they were
hurting when I asked about anything recent being stocked. They referred me to
Detroit Threads. I think they would have been better off
If he thinks they could survive in a smaller spot, then why close the
store completely instead of trimming some merchandise and moving to a
smaller space?

When the Tower Records here in Birmingham, MI closed it's doors, I
snagged several sealed copies of various Drexciya releases along with a
bunch of Tresor records. This was after Stinson died, so you can imagine

it's a terrible insult to the really good people that still work
there, and have been amazing music buyers for the

I know record time was never the end
I guess I should say goodbye to an old friend. I spent many a day workin in
that room selllin records. Experinces like that cannot bought on vynil. Many
fun times were had with Mr. Huckaby, Mr. Himes and the rest of the crew that
came and went. The dance room was one of the last dinosaurs like
and me!

i would recommend having a detroit friend (ahem) dig for the htf records you
need. i saw some ugly edits white labels there a couple weeks back, among
other goodies.
i picked up one of those not sure which one, but it is pretty cool.
