I don't think you sound ridiculous at all. I wrote an undergrad paper back in 87 about this...and wish I still had it. To me house evokes something spiritualand temporally speaking, something either present or past in the literal and figurative sense. The sound of techno itself represents an

Okay, ultiamtely, I like to think of techno and house as more of adjitives (sp?) then categories, but I think that though the two can be VERY similar, I think that if you must use them as genres, there is a difference. I think that the main difference is in the feeling behind a track. House tend
