the FAQ should be updated. In actual fact, many ABC applications support
dynamics; abcm2ps, jaabc2ps, abc2midi, to name but a few. P

There isn't a formal mechanism for doing this, I suggest you just post
your suggestions to abcusers. Be warned that getting new features put
into the standard doesn't mean that they will automatically be added to
all abc programs; usually the developers have to thrash out the exact
details of new

I have just added an option to abc2midi which generates filenames
from tune titles. By default these are limited to 8 characters
