Is there any OCR app which will read an image on demand with the actual app
running in the backend? I am asking because on Outlook I receive a lot of
mails having images of text only. Taking a screenshot is disabled as well.

Yes it is accessible I used to update my status frequently. You can use
status in the form of audio, text aur video. Only problem is that while
checking others status if there is any photo they are using in their status
we will not be able to understand it, the workaround is to take a
screenshot
