Friends, Skype 6.20 has got upgraded, which's not fully accessible with the
current Skype script. If you want to use Skype comfortably, uninstall that
upgraded version and install 6.20 again. now

This evening, I am not finding myself comfortable with skype window, specially,
in sending text chat messages to other. I think, many of us are also facing the
same problem this evening. I am using latest version of Skype with latest
version of Skype script.

Skype is not very user friendly, I agree, but it is certainly quite accessible.
I use NVDA with Skype, without any sort of scripts or plugin, and find
Skype quite usable.
Just keep tabbing and shift tabbing around quickly and you will sooner
or later reach wherever you want to reach.

Actually the same Problem I was facing too to use the Skype ID with

well, just you need to update your skype to the latest which is 6.9.
sadly these earlier versions of skype do not connect to the facebook
since the latest release has been made. scripts for latest skype is
available very much.

along with Skype Talking. However, neither the Jaws scripts nor Skype
Talking seem to be working. When I receive a call, Skype does not announce
the name of the caller as it ought to with Skype Talking

am also using the same version with the latest available skype scripts
and skype talking and not finding so much difficulty.
you must do two things to get it work again.
1- recompile the installed scripts by ctrl+shift+c,
and 2- reinstall the skype talking.
it'll work for sure.

Guys,
On the skype scripts home page, saw a link to something called
Skype Talking. I find it much better than JAWS scripts. Might not be
as easy to use may be for newbies. But, I have given up on jaws
scripts and started using skype talking instead.

hi mahesh, in order to enable the hot keys, go to the tools/options and
select the hot keys tab. select the enable hot keys check box. you can
also activate some other hot keys like mute microphone from here. After
enabling the hot keys, you can use alt+pageUp to accept the incoming call.
