Their are 8 blind schools in Assam. Jorhat Blind Institution, Guahati
Blind School, Montfort Blind School, Borhompur Blind school
Jyotinikaton Blind School, Bihpuria Blind School, Ghilamara Blind
School. recently N.F.B. has established a school in Dharamtool near
Jagirud.

Would anybody on this list have information on schools for the blind in
Assam? There is a 9 year old child going blind and needs help. We would also
appreciate information on any resource centres/computer training institutes
to initiate the child in using screen readers.
