There is a group policy that will do this. You have to add
the ADM file for SUS, but when you do, the policy becomes available. Then
you can set the suppress reboot with the policy.

Per RFC the LDAP query limit is 1000 items. You can change
that limit to reflect the additional number of items that you want to
return.
This is done with the ntdsutil utility. Use the LDAP
policies. Change the MaxPageSize value.

I have a script that will perform a metadata cleanup for one DC in a
domain. It was designed for small enviroments, so it does not work on
child domains at this point in time. All it does is asks you for the
name of the DC. If you want it, just ask.

big to send. There is a doc file that has the directions on how to use
it.
Give it a try.

Brad,
The Authenticated users group has not been given
read permissions on the OU above the problem OU. This
will prevent the client machines from reading an applying group
policy.

John,
If these are registry settings for the user, then you can create a
custom ADM file. KB article 323639 describes the process of creating
one. Once you have created it, you can add it to the group policy snap
in, and set the policy attributes.
Hope that helps.

than 4 DCs, point a DC at 3 others, and itself last. You
don't really need to point a DC at itself for DNS, but if it has to come
up offline, it will take forever to boot if you don't.
