With the SQL Database set to SIMPLE you can't run a backup of the redologs (transactionlogs), but only full backups. If your SQL-dba wants to have log backups he should set the DB recovery mode to full in the SQL-Enterprise Manager. (we never backup the Northwind-DB) Jeroen -Original
