If the stgpool is set to cache migrated files (q stg diskpool f=d), it
will always look like that.
What does the "Pct Migr" (q stg) show?

Perhaps a client password has expired and needs to be renewed. Since the
process is running invisibly, it cannot prompt for a new password.

It seems that the biggest reason that I get reports of nodes missing
their schedules is because the scheduling services have stopped due to
passwords no longer syncing up. To remedy this I usually have to reset
the password, and this corrects this issue. Is there any rhyme or
reason as to why thi

Hi, Burn - Glad you hear you got that resolved.
This is yet another example of why TSM veterans don't use GUIs for
administration: they just aren't reliable, and like to hide p

Second, refer to the Messages manual, or 'dsmc help', for the basic

Also, I'm using an AIX LPAR for the server for TSM and the LPAR's that
were "missed" are AIX. As a second question the report tells me that

Yes. Check if the scheduler is running on that system and review the
dsmsched.log on the system that missed the backup.

I just received a report from the TSM report monitor that two of our
LPARS "missed" the backup last night. Is there any way to tell why it
missed the backup?
Thanks,
Kerry
