Max power * cosine of the angle between panel normal and sun is what you
actually get under all conditions. I used to set the panel normal to the sun
elevation angle at noon on Dec 21 on the critical off grid sites that took a
helicoper to access in the winter. Still would accumulate snow at t
Yeah, don't let an installer set them for max energy over a year like they

That is close to what we used at the 37th parallel. We set our panels at
60 degrees. That gave us close to maximum sun at the winter solstice,
and we still had excess energy during the summer months. The summer sun
is long enough and strong enough that you don't need the panels pointed

I would say a propane with an auto start trigged by a voltage sense relay
really helps you sleep at night.
I had both voltage and current telemetry on everything. Daily graphs. Put a
shunt in the ground wire of the batts so you can see charge and discharge

In addition to froth-pak, be sure to tilt them at [latitude] + 23.5.
We are at 40 north so we tilt the panels at about 65*
40 + 23.5 = 63.5*
At that angle when there’s any amount of direct sunlight it slides pretty
quick.
But we also have a propane generator on-site because the stars don’t alwa

and I have a drill that's idle. So the offer is percent of revenue and my

And there is always a 10% retainage. So when they return the equipment at the
end and everything they get the retainage after the customer pays it.

Why not just a simple rental agreement with them putting the equipment on their
inland marine policy?
Sounds complicated.
You would be better off being the prime, have the sub submit the invoices to
you and you to the customer.
Take your cut when the customer pays. I have done that before. I
I could have sworn someone in this group told me about a DMCA reader that
would accept the emails and then notify the customer directly. Starting to
get tired of the notices and hoping to automate it.
