Here, you have to pothole until you see the gas line. I tell my guys that if they have gone deeper and side to side to cover the whole 24” protected zone then we are good to go. But technically the Utah law says you have to have “visual contact” with the thing you are crossing. From: Steve

Yep. Sort of was headed that way. Actually the plan was to either provide a UL listed ac output wall wart (so I could get frequency out of it), or some sort of ul listed ac power monitor.But for various reasons, including the low volume, the whole project got put aside. I'd have to look
