Essentials *only* provides licensing for 3 hosts. It's a limitation of
"essentials." -- unless that changed with v7.
If you need >3 hosts, you can't use Essentials.

I just spun up a 4th host. I can not figure out how to get a license for a
single host to add to vCenter. All I keep finding is the bundles.

I'll have to setup a Hyper-V for testing. The reason I'm leading towards VMWare is I have dabbled a bit with it. My son is also fairly proficient in it.
