[AFMUG] Mid-Span multi-voltage power injector with redundant power..

Curious if anyone has recommendations on a mid-span power injector that supports multiple voltages and provides redundant power, ideally hot-swappable. I don't really want a switch like the netonix boxes, I'd rather just have a mid-span device. Peter Kranz www.UnwiredLtd.com

By redundant power, you want individual midspan poe injectors that have their own own dual parallel 120v in, DC out power supplies? Or DC in such as from a local rectifier+battery system, DC out? On Feb 29, 2016 10:13 AM, "Peter Kranz" wrote: > Curious if anyone has recommendations on a mid-span

The new version J0 syncinjectors which will be available shortly after wispamerica (and may end up with a slightly different name to reflect their more 'universal' powering capability) do what you're talking about, other than the redundant power and hot swappability. That is: two power rails, jump

+1 I don't really see redundant power as being a big deal... it seems easy enough to just do that at the power supply, if you need it. On Mon, Feb 29, 2016 at 11:10 PM, George Skorup wrote: > Shut up and take my money! > > > On 2/29/2016 8:45 PM, Forrest Christian (List Account) wrote: > >> The

I don't think this is to much of a hijack. I just ordered 13 Ubiquiti camera that are of the 24 volt UVC variety. Does anyone know Of a midspan deal, either wall or rack mount, that will prevent me from having a huge gaggle of individual power inserters for these? On Tue, Mar 1, 2016, 6:47 AM Josh

Do you already have a switch? If not, you could use any variety of a PoE switch. On Tue, Mar 1, 2016 at 8:06 AM, Lewis Bergman wrote: > I don't think this is to much of a hijack. I just ordered 13 Ubiquiti > camera that are of the 24 volt UVC variety. Does anyone know > Of a midspan deal, eithe

I do have a POE switch but the docs list the UVC cameras as 24 volt and not 802.3AF or AT compliant. I know the pro version is 48 volt AF compliant but I didn't order any of those, only the regular UVC version. I hope I didn't screw up. Are most people using the pro version? On Tue, Mar 1, 2016 at

the 24volt syncinjectors will do that i believe, youll still have 4 power supplies but better than 13, or just do a bigger 24 volt On Tue, Mar 1, 2016 at 10:26 AM, Sean Heskett wrote: > You can also use the last mile gear CTM2 > > -Sean > > > On Monday, February 29, 2016, Peter Kranz wrote: > >
