The PTP800 is also a Remec OEM, but I've never deployed any, so I don't
know if the waveguide interface is the same.

I like the looks of your flex conduit tied into the cap. I'm wondering

Does anyone know if the Apex+ antenna will take a regular Remec radio? Like
the PTP800?
No I got it. It just didn't completely filter through my brain.
The thing that I forgot was when I was trying to monitor through a
SiteMonitor (which *__DOES__* ground the negative (-) terminal) and also
supplying 48 volts to a Trango Apex. I kept popping fuses to the Trango
until I figured
Well, Bill, I tried to reply to your other thread from yesterday about
this. Apparently it didn't make it to the list. All of the Trango stuff
(Giga & Apex) has always been -48 and 0v/+ chassis bonded, no floating.

Opposite most others that declare -48V (and ground the + terminal). But
"most" of them actually float both terminals.

have the +/0v side tied to the earth side of the AC cord, BTW). The big

I have a trango apex power supply that bit the dust. Says -48v on it. I don't
have a spare -48v. Thoughts on quickest way to restore it to service? I got
plenty of saf ones that show 48v.
Whoops, Trango. Sorry, got my T words mixed up.
