True that. It beaps though right? I'm just saying to people that bring
up accessibility. Maybe not much with olympus. But Zoom and these other
guys make no sound no music no nothing. Heck if I shutt the beeps off on
my LS-14 which I do to be able to use pre record, I sometimes forget if

I'm not saying every function could be useable without Voice Guidance on
the Olympus but I reckon 99% certainly could be with a little foreand
practise. Again many functions of the LS-p4 don' t have any Voice
Guidance feedback at all.

Oh cool. I don't remember if Neal meantioned intro scan. He may have but
just in passing. That sounds like a great feature though. Yeah like I
said with my DM520 I kinda got buy. But it still beeped. But let me tell

That's a difficult question to answer given that I've been using Voice
Guidance myself however I reckon that I'd b able to do most hthings if
the Voice Guidance were disabled.
The Stop button takes you to the home screen for example.
From there pressing the record button once puts you into 'Re
Ah but then usability is another thing. How well can 1 deal with the
device not speaking? I find that I get lost pretty quick. Mind you I
have used a DM 520 without speach but it did make the on and off music I
think and it did beap. For recording going in and out of folders I did
okayish since
Yes granted usability comes into the equation but not necessarily accessibility.
For example a Sony PCM-d50 doesn’t have anything much to aid accessibility but
the recorder is very usable.

I believe, as adults, we should decide what to purchase by what we prefer in
terms of features, price, whatever. As a blind person, my first priority is
whether or not I can use the damn thing. Frankly, I'd like to continue to see
specs and real-world use, but how about how accessible the device
The H6 will support 64 gigs. Don't know about the F recorders.

I’ve not seen nor heard a LS-14 and again we’re at the main point, speakers in
these devices just aren’t good so do we buy recorders to record with or do we
judge them by horrible sounding speakers.

Hi!
Well i think it is to small with 32 gig as you can have 256 gb on a modern
android phone these days.

Ah okay. Well I don't know if ya heard an LS-14. But if ya have is it
any better then the 14? I will point this out by the way now I think of
it. Though the speaker ain't that great well in the case of the 14 at
least it goes mad louder then the headphone jack. Is it just me? or are
the newer O
The speaker in the Zoom H1 is a shocker but at least its there if you care
about such things.
The speaker in the LS-100 is a 2 inch speaker that sounds rather good but again
I don’t rely on it.

lol. How are the zoom ones by the way? For that matter how is the one on
the LS-100? I mean these are more pro recorders so the H recorders from
Zoom and the LS-100 should have beter speakers. Well at the verry least
beterish compaired to the ones we are mostly talking about here.

Yes the sound of the speaker is important to you but its not even important to
Olympus who actually recommend in the manual that you use headphones either
wired or Bluetooth wireless for best playback results.
The speaker is a secondary function that’s there for convenience and naut else.
