As well as 'Save' and 'Save as' there should be a 'save a copy' which allows
you to save a copy of the file being worked on without switching to that file
as the 'edited' file.
for example

Currently If i go into writer, File-Templates I have the options of Save,
Organize, Edit, Address Book Source

when you open up the openoffice math GUI context on my linux installation
(Ubuntu - Gnome, with GTK integration and vanilla OOo installation, as apposed
to the Ubuntu one
