I'm using a Midiman Midisport 1x1 (USB), and it works perfectly. It's
about US$40. From the ALSA soundcard matrix, it looks like many of the
Edirol UM-series USB MIDI interfaces are also supported.

I may be wrong and you should check the details page on your card in
the alsa soundcard matrix, but I think there is no seq device on the
Hammerfall lite. I seem to remember setting one up at one time and
just not enabling the seq in modules.conf.
In other words, no:

Since v. 0.9.8, nearly all playback is running at double speed/pitch;
- wav (alsaplayer, aplay, xmms)

I never have observed this before with any version of alsa.
My configure options haven't changed for a long time:

Hello all,
I am attempting to install the latest alsa, and am following the
instructions at:

I have the following setup:

As illustrated below, it appears as though the 32 bit format is not
supported by the VXpocket. Any possible work-arounds ?

HI
I use mdk 9.1 with alsa 0.9.0rc8.
I configurated my sound card to use the via82xx driver
and included in my /etc/modules.conf file the option
dxs_support=3.
It seems that there are a lot of problems if the
sampling rate is different from 48kHz (the oss driver
works fine at any sampling rate),

Hello,
I'm trying to get multi channel on my ldell lattitude laptop to work.
I used to have a dell inspiron, and that laptop had multi channel audio
inbuilt, and that was years ago.
The fairly new lattitude seems to only have one stereo playback channel!
Is this true or am I forgetting
