we are using amanda 2.4.4 on debian sarge for about a year and had never
problems with it. since two weeks amanda cant recover certain files from tape.
it just show tar: deleting files xyz. but i know that these files are on the
tape because i can see them on the amanda shell with

never extract all files.

Hi all,
I found out, that a reboot of the amandaserver causes the night following backup to
fail,
because /tmp is emptied by the system after wakeup.
Is there a configuration possible to change the defautl /tmp/amanda to a more
permanent place?

one to run amanda) for the backup-user, none for root or any other at the same time.
Checking running processes is a nightshift job, I'd like to avoid :)
