sorry, y'all. *sigh* it was a long day.. 260 miles there, visit all
day, and 230 miles back, then back up by 8am to get on the air with the
locals.
So, yes... there were some of us that went to visit "The Ancient One",

nah, the 610 uses the entire coil. It's basically a push-pull circuit,
with one tube pulled out.

There was no trouble with the receiver. I regret to say that I forgot about
wiring the RF gain control backwards to avoid a bad spot on the control.
Shoot - I can't remember what I've done to my on rig let alone what I did
for Otis. So you have to turn the RF all the way counter clockwise for the
I am looking for several older tube sockets that were of the brown phenolic
type as used in the 30's.
Need both 4 pin and 5 pin. Need not be new.

Tom I am attaching a schematic diagram mailing direct to you, of a typical
circuit hope it helps.
This circuit is the same as a push-pull version but with one tube and one
neutralizing capacity taken out for single-ended operation.

John, it is connected on a large ceramic jack bar directly to the tube
plate. I was looking for a schematic to reference so I could determine the
values. The unit in question appears in ER#57 page #16 at the top.

There or only a few ways to wire an output link coupled rig with a single
tube (not Push pull).

Hello,
Does anyone possibly have an extra RF section/deck for the 150B setting around?
The original RF section was missing but I do have both of the supply and
modulator decks, large coil set and the matching Signal Shifter with coil set.
No Cabinet either but that is OK as the decks fit nic
Hello, I recently inherited a HB transmitter from my good friend Bob KL7HDY
who became a SK two months ago. Bob built this transmitter back in the late
1950's in a 6 foot rack enclosure. I am trying to determine if he built this
based upon any popular designs of the day since I do not have a schema
