Mineo, JE9PEL - released in Mike DK3WN Satblog - voice files received from
past tests ARRISat-1. In the files we can hear the voice of Wesley in
Castilian, KP4WES - boy from Puerto Rico. He's only 12 years, and is always
active on AO-51 and VO-52. Very cool.
Hope to be on Saudi 50 passes from fn04 on the trent severn waterway in ontario
today. Va3bl.

This is a great resource. However, the documentation suggests that a
demo WAV file will be posted to http://www.arissattlm.org , and I've
not been able to find it. Might I suggest that the file
I think I figured this out. Everything is wired correctly (see below). The
issue is that the recorder has an extremely wide dynamic range,
handling line level to mic input levels. It appears that the AGC looks at
both channels, and adjusts both based on the loudest --- so

I thought this video was an interesting explanation of the deploy of ARISSat
tomorrow morning and an overview of the EVA.

Hi Everyone,
Just a reminder (and before the flood of ARISSat emails in the list
tomorrow!), this weekend I'll be heading out to the California Lost
Coast to work the satellites from that rare grid CM79. CM79 has no
roads, no power, no houses, nothing but lots and lots of ocean and a

Indeed!
I'll be sure to ask! I've just been in touch with ARRL HQ regarding
VUCC rules. We all want to be absolutely sure that the configuration
of the operation position (4 grids at once!) complies with the
requirements.I'll be sure to ask them about the QSL cards while
I'm at it!

Hi!
I'm portable in el89. Went out to catch ao-51 this afternoon and found that
Delta Airlines had broken my receiver. (yaesu vr-500) Really wanted to do grid
squares on this trip.
Boo hoo. Really don't want to make a trip to AES!
Thanks,

Perfectly fine with documentation, and a card checker who knows VUCC, not just
DXCC. I have a 4 grid card from KK5YY that's been checked.

It should not be a tough sell to the card checker. They are to examine
the card, and the checker can disallow the card if it has been altered.
ARRL can call into question the

I have several cards with 4 grids on the same card, many with
2 grid lines, etc.
They've all counted so far!

Is there anyone who has information about pointing accuracy test procedure

Could you please send me some links or book names or papers those describe
the procedure of testing pointing accuracy of for e.g. 2 or 3 m antenna

Hi,
I don't think that it is quite correct to say you could record in
any format. Straight out old fashioned analogue (for example tape) or
any other loss less recording system would work OK.
For PC recording you need a system that does not compress the data
stream to reduce file size (eg
