I am new again to satellites after a 30 year absence. I recently began
operating on AO-7 ,Mode A, since that is the only bands I currently have
equipment for.
Over the past few weeks while trying to find my downlink signal, it seems to
be farther off in frequency than I would expe
There is a link off of the AO-7 resource page for a logger for scheduling
contacts but it doesn't work.
Does anybody know of a real time/near time reflector for scheduling more
specifically AO-7 contacts or even a general reflector covering all the
satellites?

Saw a post a few days ago regarding AO-7 Mode change.
Today 13 Jan, 2011 the mode changed from A to B at 23:28z.
Seems like it is getting later as time progresses. Last time I noted a changes
was back in late Novenber at about 23:23z and in mid December at 23:25z.

Why don't you give mode A a try. It's not very busy and is very reliable.

Just finished the mod on my IC-3200a to move the TX/RX down to 430-440 MHz.
Still need to round up some coax for the antenna but almost ready to start
attempting to receive some of the FM birds.
Not sure which antenna I'm going to use but have a CC424b and a KLM crosspol
antennas avail
For a data match to occur, both QSOs date/time (in UTC) must be within 30
minutes of each other.

It does happen sometimes. I wouldn't say that it hangs up but just slow
processing the logs.
I've been using LOTW since the beginning and have seen where it may take
anywhere from a few minutes to a day for the totals to update. The CQWW 160

Something else to consider is that the "old" bird swtiched modes in the middle
of the pass. I do not have any idea when it switches from Mode B back to Mode
A since I am not capable of operating Mode B.
