Hi, I think you refer to the lcd display that does not work. Have you tried to
check if the info is displayed ok on a pc using for example the program rotator
distributed with HRD (via rs232) ?
In that case the issue could be in something wrong between the pic and the LCD
display connections.
Hello, I don't know if it could help, anyway, I had problems until I directy
programmed the pic in circuit, following the instructions on the web site.
(I used a prototype board, not the official PCB).

I built with success an LVB tracker control to remote control an AZ rotator.
I would like to control with the same circuit also another AZ rotator, not
simultaneously with the actual I use.
Any one experienced this?
I think it could work with just switching the two rotators lines (turn

Hi to all,
I use my rig 5km far from its installation using a 2.4GHz wireless Lan "bridge".
I have two computers one in each location running Ham Radio Deluxe
server/client.
Audio is transferred via two voip lan phisycal phone, that direct calls each
other or via a voip PBX (another small pc)
I would say try to program another PIC and change it.
I keep mine turned off for days and it does not loss the calibration.

Have you tried to run the same on a different PC (not iMAc)?
I had success controlling my rotor via g6lvb lvbtracker under hamradio deluxe
on
xp (INTEL PC).

Wouldn't you like flashing the pic with the G6LVB tracker firmware and make the
circuit? (google: g6lvb).
I made it with an old HAMIV rotator and a pic16F877A.
LVB tracker does a great job and speaks serial words Linux could understand.

Finally I had my 4Mhz Xtal...
Fixed some things that I've wrong about the contrast of the LCD.
Now everything seems run.
Thank you to all, Stefano - IW1RDZ.

I add also Howard to email, in case he would be so kindly to comment even on a
homebrewed LVB board.
Ciao, Stefano.

Thanks to all for comments.
This evening I 'll try to re-flash PIC with the correct fuses, and try with the
3,5...MHz XTAL I have, to obtain at least LCD on.
The external flashing introduces another variable, right.
Ciao, Stefano.

I 've read now the .c file included in the lvb distribution, I noticed that
xtal frequency surely affects the baud rate.
I will find a 4 Mhz xtal, sorry for BW.
