P.S. Sorry for the late posting of this, but I was hoping that AO-27 would be
back online before I sent this out. We could sure use AO-51 right now!

These are subject to change as there are frequent short rains and I don't have
a weather-proof setup.
Later I'll try to post more times for this weekend and next week.

Patrick,
Just made a contact with 4C1JPG on AO-51 around 2218 on a 70 degree pass here
in northern CA. They had a good signal into AO-51.
There were several other contacts made with 4C1JPG on that pass.

Greetings again from the Garden Isle of Kauai.
Vacation time in Kauai is quickly coming to an end. Tomorrow is the last day
for working the sats, then it's back to the mainland.
Sorry for the late notice, but here's the schedule I'll try for, as long as we
don't get too showered upon:
Greetings from the Garden Isle where the temperature has been between 72 and 86
F.
The sat passes here don't seem to be working out too well, but Sunday looks
better.
Here's the schedule I'll try for, as long as we don't get showered upon:

Kevin,
Hawaii is possible but passes on AO-51 need to be close to the 1/2 way point
between the west coast and Hawaii.
Last September my wife I went to Oahu and I operated from the entrance to
Diamond Head. I was able
to make a contact with Glenn, AA5PK, in Texas from there. We figured that
Zack,
In the discussion of two vs one - I found a new way of screwing things up
today. I was trying to operate via AO-51 this afternoon
and was never making it into the bird even though I was receiving fine. Turns
out I still had the 440 side of the IC-W32A selected
as the main radio which
Greetings,
It looks like operation from BL02 (Kauai) will work. Earlier this afternoon I
made a contact with WC7V, Kerry in Montana, on a 1.5 degree pass here.
Looking at the new HO-68 schedule and the AO-51 passes, I'll try for the
following seven passes:
Sunday, 9/19
HO-68: 9:54 - 10:03
Greetings,
It looks like contacts from Hawaii are really possible via AO-51. On Sunday I
made two contacts to northern California and today made a contact with AA5PK in
San Angelo, Texas.
We were both at around 1.5 degrees and almost 3600 miles apart. So I'm very
happy with my modest
Greetings,
I will be running portable from Hawaii, BL11, this afternoon. The equipment
(arrow,IC-W32A LNK-450 pre-amp) seemed to make the trip here OK.
Saturday I was able to hear myself on AO-51 but didn't hear anyone else.
The pass I'll be trying is:

PDT: 9/12 6:50
