Hi folks,
Last week Thursday flash memory of a CAN controller on Sumbandila
was corrupted by a probable radiation event. It does not affect
satellite health but prevents activation of the amateur radio
repeater.
Similar problems occurred in October 2009 and December 2010 and were
corrected.
The SO-67 command station has agreed to set the following start times
for 15 minute activations over North America for Field Day. Activations
are -planned-, and are dependent on scheduling and battery state.

Hello
Due to urgent commissioning activities that are falling a bit behind, we can
unfortunately not schedule any SA-AMSAT payload activities for the coming
weekend and weekdays to follow.
Best regards
Jan-Albert

Hi all,
Wednesday it was not on (I think).
The two other days it worked very well.
The general picture is that at the start to
the North is easy to work :-)
Once it gets further South it gets more crowded -
but that is only to be expected. More people can reach
it.
Some operators have still n

This pass was only 1 degree so it is short. But you can
get an idea of how strong this satellite is, even at low
elevations. East is not a good direction for me but SO-67

Hi all,
Just to tell that it was on as scheduled :-)
But - please turn modulation down. Use FMN and or
speak soft to the microphone.
You can hear it yourself. The signal is very distorted
and even fluctuating in signal strength.

Hello
We experienced an attitude control anomaly this morning whilst testing a new
control algorithm, resulting in the satellite entering a safe mode and thus
prohibiting the execution of the scheduled SA-AMSAT activities as advertised.
This occurred round about 09:00 UTC. Since 19:20 we are back
Why does all think that SO67 is suppose to be on this weekend?
The email you read said it "was a suggested schedule"
The SO67 web page has not updated the satellites schedule since last
weekend.
This suggests to me that SO67 will not be on this weekend.
Also the "not hearing it" reports
Did not hear SO-67 on the 15:15 UTC pass in FN41

SO-67 was not heard over the eastern USA as
scheduled. It could be that there was a problem
with my receiver but it was working on the earlier
AO-51 pass. Did anyone else hear SO-67 this morning?
